Laetitia Costa

Founder

Laetitia Costa is the Founder of LC Advisory, an independent debt advisory boutique specialising in the origination, structuring and execution of financings across the capital structure for the European mid-market — from private credit to bank financing and hybrid solutions.

She previously co-founded Avonhurst, a boutique advisory firm integrating legal, political-risk and capital advisory services for institutional and sovereign clients. Before Avonhurst, she was Partner and Head of Banking & Finance at PwC UK, where she created the firm's first multidisciplinary Direct Lending advisory group — a pioneering initiative within the Big Four.

Previously, she was a Partner in the Leveraged Finance team at Milbank LLP in London, becoming the first French lawyer ever made partner at the firm globally; before that, she spent seven years as Counsel at Clifford Chance in Paris. She began her career at Allen & Overy, Ashurst and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Laetitia is recognised as a Leading Individual by Legal 500 UK and ranked "
Excellent" in leveraged finance by Leaders League. She is co-author of the Practitioner's Guide to European Leveraged Finance and a regular Guest Tutor at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Dual-qualified — an
Avocate at the Paris Bar and admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales — Laetitia specialises in acquisition finance and French financial restructuring (mandat ad hoc, conciliation, sauvegarde). She holds a Magistère and a Master 2 in Business Law, Taxation and Accounting (MDAFC, Aix-Marseille University) and a Master 2 in Public Finance from Paris Panthéon-Assas University.
